Roller shutters on the façade, in the cavity wall or on the window, always made to measure and installed.
Where the box goes determines the rest
A surface-mounted roller shutter hangs on the façade or in the window reveal. No chiselling is needed and the inner wall is left untouched, which makes it the logical choice for a renovation. A built-in roller shutter disappears into the cavity wall above the window, so nothing is visible on the façade. It does need space, so discuss it with your architect in good time.
If you're replacing the windows at the same time, a window-mounted roller shutter is often the simplest route: the box is fitted to the window profile at the factory.

And you choose the curtain separately
Classic slats close tight and black out completely, with optional daylight slots so you decide how much light to let in. Fusion slats go further: micro-perforations across the full width let in up to four times more daylight while keeping the view outside, just like a screen.
Operation is a separate choice again. If there's no power near the window, a solar-powered roller shutter is the answer: two integrated solar panels drive the motor, so no cables are needed.
