Window and shutter arrive as a single unit
With a window-mounted roller shutter, we mount the box onto the window profile in our factory. You get a ready-made product that our fitters install in a single operation. That makes it the logical choice when you are having new windows fitted anyway, and the only workable choice when there is too little room above the window to build one in.
The plastic box and the window form one harmonious unit, which makes the box less noticeable. We lacquer the box, guide rails, bottom rail and slats in the colour of your choice. If you want it to disappear completely, an aluminium front panel is added in the same colour as the window profiles.

One single unit, so no gaps anywhere
Because the window and the shutter box are made as one, the whole is completely air-, water- and windtight. There are no draughts and no thermal bridges, and therefore no heat loss at exactly the spot where other solutions do lose heat.
That puts our window-mounted roller shutters among the best-insulating on the market. You notice it on your energy bill, and in the sound: the same sealed unit keeps street noise out.
