A fabric on top of the glass roof that keeps the conservatory cool rather than fighting the heat after the fact.
On top of the glass, not underneath
A conservatory or bay window consists almost entirely of glass, and so heats up at lightning speed. Shading on the inside comes too late: by then the heat is already in. That is why we fit the fabric on the outside, on top of the roof, so the glass itself no longer heats up.
The construction consists of a box, two guide rails and a sun-blocking fabric. There is also a version in which, after covering the roof, the fabric rolls further down over the window.

The fabric never rests on the glass
A fabric lying on a sloping glass roof will sag and hold water. That is why the guide rails contain a spring system that keeps the fabric permanently under tension. It never touches the glass, and stays taut even in wind.
Sensors take over when you are not there. We choose the mounting brackets to suit the shape of your conservatory, because every structure with a glass roof calls for a different solution.
