Solar-powered screens, fitted to existing windows without cables and without structural work.
No cable to the window, so no work indoors
SolarFix runs entirely on two subtly built-in solar panels. No wiring needs to run to the window, which solves the problem renovations usually come unstuck on: the windows are already in place, and running a cable means opening up walls.
Installation takes place on the outside, on top of your existing windows. You do not need to be at home for it. That makes this the fastest way to fit a façade with solar shading.

A battery that gets through a cloudy week too
The solar cells charge a 4 Ah battery that drives the motor. That storage capacity is considerably larger than usual, so SolarFix keeps working almost twice as long as ordinary screens with solar panels, even on cloudy or wintry days. The same technology sits in the SolarBox roller shutters.
The fabric is held in the guide rails by a zip system, so it stays taut and does not blow loose. Fully lowered, it also works as a mosquito screen.

For the large glazed sections too
The larger the window, the larger the box. SolarFix comes in box depths of 90, 110 and 125 mm. On most façades, the 90 mm version fits exactly within the window reveal, so the housing does not protrude from the wall.
For glazed sections up to 15 m², we use a more powerful 20 N motor and a different roller tube. The design was honoured with a Red Dot Design Award.
