Winsol Brebo wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who see poorly, who do not use a mouse, or who rely on a screen reader. This page says plainly how far along we are.

The standard we follow

We aim for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, level AA. That is the standard the European norm EN 301 549 points to and the one used as a yardstick in practice.

Where we stand

This website partially conforms to WCAG 2.1 level AA. Most of it is in order: the site works with a keyboard, the heading structure is sound, images have a text alternative and form fields have a linked label.

We know about these points and they are not yet fixed:

  • In a few places the contrast between text and background is below what the standard asks.

  • On a small screen some buttons are smaller than recommended, or sit too close to another button.

  • Not every element passes its role on to assistive software as precisely as it should.

These points come from an internal review in September 2026, in which we checked the site with automated tests and with the keyboard. No external audit has taken place.

What we are doing about it

The three points above are on our list and will be tackled at the next round of maintenance. For new pages we check accessibility before they go live.

If you need information that is not accessible on the site, we will provide it another way: by phone, by email, or at one of our showrooms in Dilbeek, Sint-Pieters-Leeuw or Aartselaar.

The status of this statement

We publish this statement of our own accord. The Belgian act of 19 July 2018 on the accessibility of websites applies to public sector bodies, and the European Accessibility Act covers, among other things, online shops where you conclude a contract. On our site you can only request a quote, a repair or a brochure, so neither obliges us to publish this. That does not make accessibility any less important to us, and we maintain this page as we do the rest of the site.
